Mazda servicing is now much cheaper, for those in the know. Thanks to European legislation, you no longer have to be tied to high Mazda service costs, dictated by your local dealer.

In October 2003 new European legislation affecting the motor industry came into force called “Block Exemption Regulation” 14002002 (BER), and this now means that you can book your next Mazda van service online and save up to 50% on what you might pay at your local Mazda dealer.

Before the law changed it was difficult to have new vans within their warranty period serviced outside a franchised dealer. If you wanted to shop around for the best prices on Mazda van servicing, your hands were tied. The change in the law now gives every van owner the freedom to service their van away from the main dealers, and still have their warranty protected.

Thousands of Mazda van owners have now taken advantage of their new right and reduced their Mazda serving costs, whilst benefiting from the convenience of booking with national van service providers such as Service A Van.

Service A Van is a leading online van servicing network that prides itself on the quality of its Mazda servicing, their customer service and transparent pricing. Because the company is not tied to any particular van manufacturer, they are able to service any make of vehicle and compete freely in the market, on a like-for-like.

Every vehicle is rigorously serviced according to the manufacturer’s servicing schedule, using genuine recommended parts fitted by qualified technicians. This means that every Mazda van service fulfils the warranty criteria and there is no compromise on the servicing standards of a main dealer.

Companies like Service A Van, who fulfil the warranty criteria when servicing your Mazda, are able to maintain your service book, just as main dealer can – thereby protecting your warranty and helping you to maximise the resale value of your Mazda van.

Of course, booking direct with a national van servicing network has its own advantages:

• You no longer have to do all the running around. Service A Van collects your Mazda in the morning and delivers it back that afternoon, free of charge

• You pay a fixed Mazda service price, which can be up to 50% below the price at the Mazda servicing desk of your local dealer

• No additional work is vanried out without your agreement, which means no nasty surprises when it comes to paying the bill

• Trained Customer Advisers are on hand throughout the day to keep you informed of progress, and report back on problems you asked to be investigated as part of your Mazda service e.g. knocks and rattles

• Your Mazda service includes a free wash and vacuum clean

• You simply pay with your credit or debit vand and your van is delivered back to your home or work address.

Our advice for saving money on Mazda van servicing is to contact a national van servicing network, who is not tied to any one particular van manufacturer, like Service A Van.

So, before you book your next Mazda van service, why not ask your local dealer to tell you the cost of the service (plus parts, oil and any extras) and then compare it with a fixed price quote from a national servicing network, like Service A Van?

Happy motoring,

Howard.

About Mazda Motor Corporation

A Japanese automotive manufacturer that is based in Hiroshima, Japan, Mazda Motor Corporation is the maker of quality and top of the line parts such as Mazda tailgate handle.

In addition to that, Mazda is also a well known producer of different types of vehicles and their parts.

The manufacturer’s name is derived from the transcendental God of Zoroastrianism, Ahura Mazda. It is also believed that Mazda coincides with the anglicized pronunciation of Zoroastrianism founder’s name, Jujiro Matsuda, and opted to rename it in honor of both his family and the believers of Zoroastrianism. In the Avestan language, Mazda means “wisdom”. Nonetheless, because the company is from Japan, the name has always been pronounced and spelled as “Matsuda”. This leads the public to believe that “Mazda” is just an anglicized version of the founder.

The company is expected to produce 1.25 million vehicles annually as of 2006. Among Japan, Europe, North America, and Latin America, its sales will be evenly divided.

Mazda’s 33.4% of controlling interest is controlled by the Ford Motor Company.

Aimed at mending problems with the coil springs and material used to cap the hydraulic oil, Grand Motors Incorporated is calling back 749 Mazda 2 and Verisa vehicles.

Following an announcement made by Mazda Motor Corp (Japan) to call back a total of 287,987 Demio (Mazda 2) and Verisa on Thursday, the said move was made by Grand Motors Incorporated.

Grand Motors Managing Director Frankie Ho said that he wanted to assure the customers that all affected vehicles will be fixed with no charge. In lieu of this, he added that the components to be used will be arriving very soon.

The VIN or the chassis number list of the affected Mazda 2 vehicles in Brunei Darussalam arrived yesterday through an email. Following Director Ho said that he will make it a point that all affected owners will be notified. According to him, this will be done via letter, email, telephone or advertisement in the local papers.

As regards the process of faulty part replacement, he said that they will separate the affected vehicles into groups to make the process easier. So far, this was Mazda’s biggest recall in Japan. The problems lie on the coil springs whose coating can be easily removed due to the improper installation of the parts. Under worst cases, rusts may occur on the coil that may result to breakage.

The other problem is that the material to cover the hydraulic oil which is used in the clutch system could leak. In effect, this causes the clutch to not function properly.

Mr. Ho said that more than 1,000 Mazda 2 models so far have been sold in Brunei Darussalam and, fortunately, they have not encountered even a single problem on the two issues. But according to him it is out of concern that Mazda opts to mend all the affected vehicles.

For more information, customers can contact 2453105 or 2453106.

The Director also encouraged the concerned owners to provide their car registration so that it would not be difficult for them to look into the affected VIN or chassis numbers.

About Mazda2

Mazda2 has several names including Demio, Mazda 121, Mazda Metro, and Ford Festiva Mini Wagon. Equipped with quality Mazda fuel filter, it is a small minivan or tall station wagon and was introduced in 1996.

Based on the 2005 records, 892,000 Mazda2 vehicles had been sold all over the world since its introduction. Mazda 2 vehicles had been sold in Brunei between 2004 and 2006.

With the transmissions of the Ford IB5, its predecessors are the Ford Festiva, Autozam Revue and the Mazda 121.

About Mazda Verisa

A tall hatchback that is based on the Mazda2 or Mazda Demio subcompact car, the Mazda Verisa is launched in 2004 and available only in Japan. Based on the 2005 records, 19,473 Verisas had been sold since introduction.

Mazda will give the Verisa a new logo in July this year.

About Mazda Motor Corporation

A Japanese auto maker that is based in Hiroshima, Japan, Mazda Motor Corporation expected to build 1.25 million vehicles annually as of 2006. The sales will be evenly divided among Japan, Europe, North and Latin America.

Mazda’s 33.4 percent controlling interest is owned by Ford Motor Company.

About Grand Motors Incorporated

Grand Motors is the main distributor of Mazda vehicles in North America. Since 1993, they have been an established pre-owned vehicle dealership.

One of the most recognizable brands of trucks is Mazda. Founded in the first quarter of the 20th century, Mazda is one of the biggest Japanese manufacturers of automobiles, and is estimated to produce more than 1 million automobiles per year with sales in Japan, Europe, and North America. But before becoming an international super-company, Mazda was once the Toyo Cork Kogyo Company, which was founded 1920 and manufactured machine tools. And it was not until 1931 that Toyo Cork Kogyo shifted from machine tools to automotives and introduced the Mazda-Go, a three-wheeled truck in 1931. The word Mazda was finally adapted as the company name in 1984, although every automobile sold bore the name Mazda. And from then on and until today, Mazda is one of the leaders in automobile manufacture and technology. Mazda pioneered a lot of fresh innovations previously unknown in the automotive industry, and is the only producer of the Miller cycle engine in the world and the last remaining manufacturer of Wankel engine, which uses a rotor instead of the reciprocating pistons found in most standard internal combustion engines today. Also, Mazda is quite popular in Australia and in 2006 Mazda was one of the highest sold automotive brands in the region.

The secret to the success of Mazda lies in its long tradition of craftsmanship and quality that incorporates into its vehicles. Mazda is the Avestan word for wisdom, and it is the wisdom of many years of superior engineering and technical know-how that Mazda incorporates into its trucks, right down to the smallest Mazda Truck Part and Mazda Truck Accessories. And this is important, since every part and accessory incorporated in the Mazda contributes to its overall performance on the road. There are many Mazda Truck Parts that can be found on the Mazda, but they often share the similar construction. Take the chassis as an example. Most trucks have a frame or chassis that is mainly constructed of two beams and several crossmembers. This type of truck chassis consists of two parallel straight C-shaped beams, or in some trucks stepped or tapered beams, which are held together by the crossmembers. And since trucks are used primarily for heavy duty use such as hauling cargo, truck chassis is usually made of specially tempered steel or in some cases aluminum for lighter weight. And aside from the chassis, most Mitsubishi trucks share similar construction of the engine as well. Heavy duty trucks often use four stroke turbo intercooler diesel engines which provide a lot of torque and horsepower, while light and medium duty trucks such as pickups and SUVs use a more fuel-efficient gasoline engines. Other Mazda Truck Parts that share similarities also include the drivetrain, transmission, and some hydraulic and electrical systems.

But aside from rugged and reliable performance, Mazda trucks can also be fitted with Mazda Truck Accessories to enhance the look of the vehicle. Mazda Truck Accessories such as bike racks, dash trim, floor liner and floor mats give your truck a more stylish look, while grille guards, car covers, bug shield, and hood protectors provide additional protection while adding to the overall appearance to the exterior of the vehicle.
