UAE is uses its money on luxury goods instead of Military Power. If you do your research UAE has a very weak Military. If Iran or any other country decided to invade UAE, UAE would have to surrender its oil wells. UAE is under the protection of most Arab countries, for how long though? If Russia or China decided to invade into UAE, Saudi and the other Arab countries would do nothing to defend its neighbor..
